Brentwood musician serenades elderly residents at assisted living facility during COVID-19 outbreak
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WTVF) — People are taking precautions to help slow the spread of the new coronavirus including going into quarantine. For the elderly residents at the assisted living facility, The Harmony In Brentwood, the distance is critical. It was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
Brentwood musician David DeLoach’s mother lives there. DeLoach didn’t want her to feel alone during this trying time so he got creative on how to see her, singing and playing guitar to her from outside, at least 40 feet away.
As he played, other elderly residents joined from their balcony as well.
